Student Online Conduct Policy

We keep the bar high so every student feels safe, focused, and respected during class.

Version v1.0 · Last updated May 2026

Be kind

Treat classmates and instructors the way you'd want to be treated. Encourage other students. Celebrate their wins. Disagree respectfully when you do.

Be present

Show up on time. Keep your phone away unless it's part of the project. Mute your mic when you're not talking. Help the cohort focus.

No bullying or harassment

Bullying, name-calling, hate speech, harassment of any kind, or sharing harmful content about a classmate is not allowed — in class, in chat, or in any community space we run.

Safe sharing

Don't share personal contact details (phone, address, social handles) with classmates. If you'd like to stay in touch with a friend you made in class, ask the instructor and we'll help arrange it appropriately.

Use AI honestly

Be open about what you used AI for. Take credit only for what you actually created or directed. Read the AI Ethics policy for the full picture.

If something feels wrong

Tell the instructor right away — in chat, in a direct message, or by emailing hello@manitobalearn.com. We will listen and act.
